Setting up the Pioneer DJS-1000

We’ve created a handy project template to get your DJS-1000 going with Melodics.

Open the SYNC menu on the DJS-1000 touch screen

Select USB MIDI from MIDI I/F SELECT

First things first:

Download the project file!

Then unzip it to get the Melodics.prj file. Got it? Cool.

First time setup:

Copy the Melodics.prj file to a USB drive using the following path: PIONEER DJ SAMPLER/Projects/Melodics.prj
Open the SYNC menu on the DJS-1000 touch screen
Select USB MIDI from MIDI I/F SELECT
Insert USB drive from Step 1 into DJS-1000
Open the PROJECT menu
Select OPEN
Select USB
Select the Melodics.prj and load to the DJS-1000

And you should be ready to go!
